Black Friday

Once again the holiday season is upon us.  Again I’m happy that I get your undivided attention on the day we refer to as Black Friday.  My good friend and side kick, Mischievous Raven, is once again the spokes person (bird) for A To Z Ammo, this year.  A proud sponsor of The 7 Evil Dwarves Blog.  So remember when shopping for that perfect Christmas gift stop by to see the helpful folks down at A To Z Ammo.  Say hi to Mischievous and get an extra ten percent off your order.

Things around the swamp are kicking into gear.  The swamp thing has drafted the zombie horde to help her decorate for Christmas.  They aren’t very good at hanging lights, but for each mistake made she makes a snack of the offender.  I don’t know how it’s going to look.  But I venture to say, she won’t be hungry at the end of the day.

The Prankster Duo are still running on a sugar high from yesterdays excessive desert tray and they are ignoring the no wake zone in front of my humble pad.  Someone is going to have to have a talk with them about this infraction.  Providing they can get them to drop out of light speed long enough to listen.

The Slice Your Own Deli served a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner for all my friends and neighbors.  It was a good day except when the muses started that drinking game.  I didn’t understand all the rules, but holding still while someone throws a sharp knife in your general direction was a part of it.  If you flinch you drink, if you hit the person holding still you drink, if you didn’t get a turn for a while you drink.  Now that I think about, they pretty much just got faced while throwing knives around.  That’s why they get their own table at Thanksgiving.  No one wants to sit at the muse table.

The Werewolf Monks have unveiled a new Christmas wine.  It’s a bold Red with bloody notes and delicate copper after taste.  They are marketing under the label “Exsanguinate the Halls.”  Only while supplies last.

The zombie carolers have launched into one of my favorite Christmas classics.  Let’s give a listen.

Fresh brains roasting on an open fire.  Zombies chewing off your nose– It all began when they ate the whole choir.  They’re even eating Eskimoes.  Everybody knows a leg bone and someone’s toes. Make a Zombie’s season bright.  Tiny, tots with their eyes in a bowl. Will find it hard to sleep tonight.

Lovely isn’t it.

I’ve completed the rewrite of my novel this week and it’s longer than it should be.  Now starts the editing process.  Oh, joy.  With that in mind I leave you with this.

This weeks quote comes from The Book of Celtic Wisdom.

“Words have a magical power.  They can raise up spirits or dash them down.  They can bring laughter as easily as tears.  Spend words like a miser counting coins.  Make each word count.”

Write On,

Eerie

  1. I promise we’ll set out some sugar traps for the Duo. Maybe we can snag ’em mid-air and get them anchored.
They found my Ebenezer Espresso Stash I had hidden away. I’ll have to find a better hiding place.

Love the reindeer mantle you’ve got up for Christmas and tell Mischevious to bring back my bright and shiny things for my Christmas decorating. I think he and the hellhound got into the storage shed during yesterday’s feast.

    Happy Black Friday!
    Wicked
